Kenya Projects

Missionary to the Sudan, Judith Engesha

We met Judith Engesha at the meetings in Kitale. She is called of the Lord and has begun preparation for a mission to Sudan. We received the following email from her.

Dear Pat, Barbara and Kathy,

Grace to you all and peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  Romans 1:7b (KJV)

Thank you so much for your teachings and encouragement to women when you were here in Kitale, Kenya at Covenant City Church. You taught women to come out of the traditional and cultural bindings and take step of faith and encouraged them to serve God.

Truly, I witnessed the answer to my prayer to some four years whereby I have been asking God to cause people from anywhere in the world to support women and empower them for the ministry of God.

I also thank you for accepting to meet me and encourage me in the mission work to Sudan. God bless you so much.

So far, I have made all the arrangements needed. I have my passport and a link to the area through one Sudanese family.

I humbly beseech you to stand with me in prayer for God to meet the following personal need.

(a) Finance for the mission and family.
(b) God to prepare souls in the area Acts13:47 "I have made a light for the Gentiles that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth and also Isaiah 18:1-7
(c)More women will be empowered to do the God's work.

Finally, peace to all of you who are in Christ in the God's Word to Women organization.  It's my prayer that we will continue to work together to empower more women all over Africa and other areas. I was also informed that women's ministry in Sudan is never recognized, but I know we will make it through Christ.

God bless you all and your families too. Amen.

Yours in Christ's love.

Judith Engesha.

"And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!  (Living bible)  And how will anyone go and tell them unless someone sends him or her. " Romans 10:15
