Healing Word Archives 2002 DECEMBER 2002 Taken from the Amplified Bible Numbers 24:17 I see him but he is not now; I behold him, but he is not near; a star shall come forth out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel and shall crush all the corners of Moab, and break down all the sons of Sheth. Zechariah 9:9a rejoice greatly, o daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, o daughter of Jerusalem! Lo, your king comes to you; he is just, and having salvation... Isaiah 9:6 for unto us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called wonderful counselor, mighty god, everlasting father, prince of peace. PROVERBS 16:24 Pleasant words are as a honey-comb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body. JAMES 5: 13-15 Is anyone among you afflicted- ill-treated, suffering evil? He should pray. Is any one glad at heart? He should sing praise to God. Is any one among you sick? He should call in the church elders. And they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Lord's name. I PETER 2:24 He personally bore our sins in His (own) body to the tree (as to an altar and offered Himself on it), that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed. JOHN 6:63 It is the Spirit that gives life - He is the Life-giver; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever - there is no profit in it. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. March 2002 Taken from the NIV Bible HOSEA 6:1-3 "Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but He will heal us; He has injured us but He will bind up our wounds. After two days He will revive us; and on the third day He will restore us, that we may live in His presence. Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him. PSALM 33:20-22 We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. FEBRUARY 2002 Taken from the Amplified Bible GALATIANS 4:27 For it is written in the Scriptures, Rejoice, O barren woman who has not given birth to children; break forth into a joyful shout, you who are not feeling birth pangs, for the desolate woman has many more children that she who has a husband. ISAIAH 62:3 You shall also be (so beautiful and prosperous as to be thought of as) a crown of glory and honor in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem (exceedingly beautiful) in the hand of your God. ISAIAH 55:11-12 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void-without producing any effect, useless- but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out (from spiritual exile of sin and evil into the homeland) with joy, and be led forth (by your Leader, the Lord Himself and His word) with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. ISAIAH 43:18-19 Do not (earnestly) remember the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it, and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. ISAIAH 45:5-6 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God besides Me. I will gird and arm you though you have not known Me, that men may know from the east and the rising of the sun, and from the west and its going down, that I am the Lord and no one else is He. JANUARY 2002 Taken from the Amplified Bible PSALM 42: 5 Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope you in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my help and my God. PSALM 37: 1-5 Fret not yourself because of evil-doers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness-- that which is not upright, nor in right standing with God. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust (lean on, rely on and be confident) in the Lord, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord --- roll and repose (each care of) your load on Him; trust (lean on and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass. PSALM 31:1 In You, O Lord, do I put my trust and seek refuge; let me never be put to shame or (have my hope in You) disappointed; deliver me in Your righteousness! PSALM 145:20-21 The Lord preserves all those who love Him, but all the wicked will He destroy.
