of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What
he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
See, I have placed before you an open door, that no one can
shut. I know you have little strength, yet you have kept my

acknowledge that I have loved you.”

Matthew 11:28 -30 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and
I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am
gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my
yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 5:1, 13-16 Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and
when he sat down his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and
taught them saying:
"You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its
taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything
except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot
be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand,
and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in
heaven."
Matthew 13: 45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in
search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went
and sold all that he had and bought it."
Matthew 13: 53 And when Jesus had finished these parables, he went
away from there, and coming to his own country he taught them in their
synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, “Where did this man
get this wisdom and these mighty works?"
John 8:28 So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of man, then
you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority
but speak thus as the Father taught me.”

Psalm 36: 1-6
An oracle is within my heart, concerning the sinfulness of the
wicked.
There is no fear of God before their eyes.
For in their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate
their sin.
The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful
They have ceased to be wise and to do good.
Even on their beds they plot evil; they commit themselves to a sinful
course
And do not reject what is wrong.
Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the
skies.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains
Your justice like the great deep.

Luke 17:5-6
The Apostles said to the Lord,
“Increase our faith!” He replied, “If you have faith as small as a
mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and
planted in the sea’ and it will obey you.
Matthew 15:22-28 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to
him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is
suffering terribly from demon – possession.” Jesus did not answer a
word. So his disciples came to him, and urged him, “Send her away, for
she keeps crying out after us.” He answered, “I was sent only to the
lost sheep of Israel.” The woman came and knelt before him, “Lord, help
me!” she said. He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread
and toss it to their dogs.” “Yes, Lord,” she said, but even the dogs eat
the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” Then Jesus answered,
“Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter
was healed from that very hour.

I Corinthians 13:13 And now these remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

Psalm 86:8-11 There is none like unto You
among the gods, O Lord, neither are their works like unto Yours. All
nations whom You have made shall come and fall down before You, O Lord,
and they shall glorify Your name. For You are great and work wonders!
You alone are God.
Psalm 96:8 - 10 Give to the Lord the glory
due His name; bring an offering and come [before Him] into His courts. O
worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; tremble before and
reverently fear Him, all the earth. Say among the nations that the Lord
reigns; the world also is established, so that it cannot be moved; He
shall judge and rule the people righteously and with justice.
Psalm 97:1-5 The Lord reigns, let the
earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad! Clouds
and darkness are round about Him [as at Sinai]; righteousness and
justice are the foundations of His throne. Fire goes before Him and
burns up His adversaries round about. His lightnings illumine the world;
the earth sees and trembles. The hills melted like wax at the presence
of the Lord, at the Lord of the whole earth.

a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word and reveres My
commands.
Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves according to righteousness –

comes and teaches you righteousness and rains His righteous gift of
salvation upon you.

were locked, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and

hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
John 20:30 - 31 Now Jesus did many other signs in the
presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these
are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah,
the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his
name.

Colossians 2:6 – 8 As therefore you received Christ
Jesus, the Lord, so live in him, rooted and built up in him and established in
the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and
empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental
spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ.
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to
fullness in him who is the head of all rule and authority.
Acts 17:28 For in him we live and move and have our
being; as even some of your poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
